ASL Fingerspelling Sign Language Letters
Here are the 26 Fingerspelling Sign Language Letters. You can use these letter signs to spell out sign language signs that you may not know, or to spell proper nouns for which there is no specific sign. Quite often I will make use of fingerspelling to ask a more experienced signer how to perform a specific sign.
Fingerspelling in American Sign Language is a very useful tool. Even if you have no other knowledge of sign language, you can still communicate with deaf individuals, or anyone else for that matter, as long as they also know how to fingerspell.
